Concrete finishes
All of our concrete flat work is hand trowelled and then lightly polished by hand. Heavier polishing or grinding can produce an exposed aggregate finish. Surfaces are sealed with a penetrative sealant and treated with a cream polish.
Vertical elements as standard are cast against resin faced birch plywood which produces a smooth finish. Sawn timber can be used to produce a textured board mark finish. Bespoke resin or rubber formliners can be used for a variety of embossed finishes. Fabric formwork can also be made giving an imprinted, textured surface and a form dictated by the qualities and design of the fabric itself.
